How to improve project meetings
Team meetings can be a great opportunity for your staff to get together and talk through all the aspects of particular projects that are currently running. It gives all members of the team a chance to update everyone else on how their part of the project is going as well as giving them all the chance to brainstorm through any issues that might have arisen.
There are some important things to consider when running these meetings and ways in which you can improve their performance. If you are holding a planning meeting it is important that you have an agenda to work from, otherwise you can find that the meeting will get diverted in lots of different directions. It is also important to try and keep to any timings that you have laid out in the agenda.
Collaboration is key in team meetings and if you have staff members who are less inclined to speak up you might want to have a policy whereby you go round the table in sequence to get people’s views or answers to any questions that you have posed.
When your time has completed a project it can be nice to have a meeting where you can discuss everything that went well and any areas that you need to improve on. You can also have some Corporate Hampers brought in to help your team celebrate completing the project.
